The Google Play editions of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One are now available on Google Play with the latest version ofAndroid. These smartphones aim to deliver a pure Android experience by running Stock Android 4.3 firmware, the latest one from Google. We’re excited to inform you that Android 4.3 has now been ported from the Google Play Edition of Galaxy S4 to the standard Snapdragon-powered variant of Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). Perhaps, if you aren’t impressed with the Samsung’s customized version of Android 4.2.2 on Galaxy S4, then you can transform it into a Nexus phone simply by flashing the Google Play Edition of Android on your Galaxy S4. However, despite being an AOSP ROM it is clear that these won’t receive updates directly from Google.
